Good news! BEWG won the bid for Beijing Haidian Daoxianghu Lake Reclaimed Water Plant Phase II Project 2021-08-13
On August 11, Beijing Haidian District Water Affairs Bureau announced that BEWG had won the second phase of the Daoxianghu Lake reclaimed Water Plant PPP Project. The winning bid is another important harvest of BEWG in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, as well as a key achievement of BEWG’s northern region comprehensive docking with the national strategy.
The project is located in the south of Cuihu South Road and the east of Zhoujiaxiang Ditch Haidian District, Beijing. It covers an area of 2.2011 hectares with a design treatment capacity of 80000 tons per day, it is fully underground construction and adopts the “multi-stage AO+MBR+ozone contact oxidation” process, with the effluent quality reaching the Beijing Standard B.
The Daoxianghu Lake Reclaimed Water Plant Phase II Project PPP Project, in accordance with the functional positioning given to Haidian District in Beijing Urban master plan (2016-2035) and Haidian Zoning Plan (Territorial Spatial Planning) (2017-2035), aims to improve the sewage treatment capacity in the northern part of Haidian, expand the use and application areas of reclaimed water, save resources and improve the environment, it is a key project to achieve the effective utilization of reclaimed water. The construction of the project will accelerate the development of water affairs in the northern part of Haidian, improve the regional sewage treatment and reclaimed water utilization facilities, optimize the water ecological environment in the region and effectively improve the quality of reclaimed water and play a positive role in building an ecologically livable Haidian.
The successful bid for Beijing Haidian Daoxianghu Lake Reclaimed Water Plant Phase II Project not only relies on the strong technical strength, excellent team cohesion and good corporate reputation of BEWG, but also depends on the rich project operation experience and high customer recognition of Daoxianghu Lake Reclaimed Water Plant Phase I Project.
Daoxianghu Lake Reclaimed Water Phase I Project was officially entered into commercial operation in March 2017, with a treatment scale of 80000 tons per day, and the effluent meets the Beijing Standard B, making it the first reclaimed water plant in Beijing to integrate sewage treatment, advanced water purification, comprehensive utilization of water resources, underground treatment facilities and above-ground landscape park.
Up to now, Daoxianghu Lake Reclaimed Water Plant has treated a total of over 80 million tons of water, with the effluent discharged into Nansha River, and delivered production cooling water (about 3000 tons per day) for the Jingneng Thermal Power Plant. Meanwhile, the project has received more than 100 visits from urban leaders, groups and individuals from all walks of life, and received more than 10 special reports from various news media. It has become a joint scientific and technological innovation base for government and enterprises in production, learning and research, and is a typical demonstration project for BEWG to practice the construction of ecological civilization and show the achievements of water science and technology.
During the operation of Daoxianghu Lake Reclaimed Water Plant Phase I Project, BEWG always insists on giving priority to quality and effectiveness. In order to reduce the pressure of the drainage network during the flood season, BEWG actively improved the biochemical activity of the system and enhanced the treatment capacity of Phase I project, during the main flood season from June to September, the cumulative daily treatment capacity exceeded the design capacity for more than 40 days, and the maximum daily treatment capacity exceeded 88000 tons. In order to further enhance the value impact of phase I project, BEWG actively optimized the overall environment of the plant and improved the landscape greening effect of above-ground park. Meanwhile, in accordance with the Group's strategic positioning, the "1+N" smart water platform was implemented, making the phase I project the core brain of intelligent control, and using the platform system to collect regional information to realize remote participation and unified regulation; A water science and technology exhibition hall was built to comprehensively display the development history of BEWG, the process of water plants construction, water science and technology and recycling, and the project has been fully recognized by the leaders of Haidian District Government during many inspections.
In the future, BEWG will always take customers as the orientation, aim at the five-star factory standard, follow the concept of industrial aesthetics, with excellent performance and high-quality project delivery quality, build the Daoxianghu Lake Reclaimed Water Plant I and II projects into the industry benchmark water plant in Beijing, and contribute to the ecological environment construction in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region with BEWG's strength.
