BEWG Won a PPP Project Tender of RMB￥19.6 Billion 2017-05-31
On May 31, 2017, BEWG became the winner of Baotou Water Ecology Promotion Comprehensive Utilization PPP Project, with the investment of RMB￥19.6 Billion. Up to now, it is the biggest project BEWG has ever won. This success is owing to BEWG double-wheel driving strategy of investment & financing and professional technology, ecological cooperation philosophy of BEWG, and brand name influence and comprehensive strength. Meanwhile, it greatly promotes the influence of BEWG in the industry, and will lead to rapid development of BEWG.
Baotou is a national civilization city, and a modern industrial city. It is a typical city short of water supply, and is in the industrial transformation process. The Baotou Water Ecology Promotion Comprehensive Utilization Project is a city water system project integrated with water conservancy and flood control project, water resources deployment project, river & lake water network connection project, landscape water system project and smart water management project. The implementation of this project will result in a city water ecology featuring reasonable layout, good ecology, proper water guiding and drainage, and smooth circulating. An urban and rural water network of "Interconnection between South and North, Complementary to each other between East and West", to create a livable environment surrounded by green water, and to realize the "Green Water Dream" of people in Baotou.
This project will be implemented in three years. In the year of 2017, the construction of four longitudinal connections will be basically completed, flood cutting ditch in north suburb and two transverse construction projects for Yinhe River will be initially shaped, and the water resource deployment project of "Guide water into Baihe and Damao" will be pushed forward with full force. BEWG will spare no effort to follow the instructions of Baotou Municipal Government to get well prepared for hundred-day tough task based on high standard design and implementation, to ensure accomplishment of the task to present a gift for 70th anniversary of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. BEWG will strive to build this project to be an excellent and demonstration projects to benefit ordinary people in Baotou, to build Baotou as "New model city lacking water", and to forge "New ecological mode for industrial transformation".
