The establishment of BEWG Water Environment Research Institute and development seminar was successfully held 2016-11-25
November 25, 2016, the BEWG Water Environment Research Institute was formally established in Beijing. A number of industry experts and scholars, including Liu Changming, an academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Hang Shijun, former deputy chief engineer of Beijing Municipal Engineering Design Research Institute, and director of the BEWG Technical Committee, Chen Hesheng, former deputy director of Taihu Lake Basin Water Resources Protection Bureau and expert of national special water basin attended the establishment of BEWG Water Environment Research Institute and development seminar upon invitation. President Zhou Min, executive president Li Li and vice president Yang Guang (the first director of Water Environment Research Institute) of BEWG attended the seminar.
As a comprehensive, full-industry chain, leading professional water service provider, BEWG focuses on the combination of connotation and extension development, strengthens the "capital + technology" double-wheel driving during leading the development of the industry. At the seminar, more than ten experts and guests congratulated the establishment of the BEWG Water Environment Research Institute one after another, and offered proposals for the development of the Institute. In the speeches of the experts and guests, a variety of brilliant ideas were presented. In addition to fully affirming the outstanding achievements of BEWG, they also deeply discussed the industrial orientation, technical management system of the Water Environment Research Institute, as well as the recent and long-term business development goals, and raised relevant suggestions, which will help BEWG make more innovation and greater contributions in the field of environmental governance.
